DECIDUOUS. ‘Amethyst Falls’ comes from a premium plant breeding program and as a result exhibits a less aggressive and slightly smaller Wisteria than others of the genus. ‘Amethyst Falls’ is an American variety of Wisteria. When in flower, ‘Amethyst Falls’ sports a massive display of deep lilac coloured flowers which are produced on shorter than usual racemes (flower stems) giving a fuller effect. Flowering begins in Spring with repeat flushes throughout Summer.
