DECIDUOUS. Has green heart shaped leaves in Spring/Summer. In Autumn, the tree has an awesome range of colour with shades of crimson, yellow and orange. Chinese Tallow develops a medium domed crown as it matures. In Spring, yellow-green catkins are produced, followed by small capsules which open to reveal white, waxy seeds. Very hardy. Is native to southern China. Mature height to 8m, width 6m.
