DECIDUOUS. Graceful, deeply cut leaves set this elderberry apart from all others. Develops an elegant vase-shaped form. Blooms earlier in Spring than others, with flattened cymes of creamy white flowers. Best in sun to part shade. Frost hardy. Discovered in Germany before 1650. Mature height to 3m, width 2m.
